Durga Bari Temple
The temple is at the heart of Durga Bari. It is the temple around which its devotees congregate every Sunday.
Right after Houston Durga Bari Society came into existence, the temple was the first facility that was built to house Durga Diety in the year 2000. The temple was inaugurated by Swami Satarupanand of San Franscisco on September 2000.
Our resident priest Dr. Bishnupada Goswami provides all religious services in the temple aided by other members of the community during cetain festivities.
